Three New Adventures!Posted on : December 11, 2015
2015 saw the expansion of Rare Adventures’ portfolio to include three new adventures!
Launched shortly after RAG conference, Rare Island is the first of our adventures based in the UK, testing your team leadership, organisation, and communications skills. The instructors are all former Royal Marines Commandos who have survived in the harshest environments in the world, and it’s under their guidance that participants learn essential survival techniques. This is the perfect adventure for anyone who wants to experience a taste of the wild life, but doesn’t have the time to dedicate to an overseas event.
The Grand Canyon
Awe-inspiring and magnificently vast, the Grand Canyon is one of the world’s most iconic and recognisable destinations. Standing at almost 300 miles long and over a mile deep, Rare Adventures’ routes include a hike into the Havasupai Reservation to view the stunning Havasu Falls, and a trip to Sedona, known as ‘America’s most beautiful destination’. This journey can be completed with the opportunity to see the beautiful scenery of Zion, or by experiencing the bright lights of Las Vegas.
Amazon Jungle Experience
One of the richest areas of natural wonder on the planet, the Amazon rainforest covers half a billion square kilometres across nine countries including Brazil. Alongside visits to Manaus and Rio de Janeiro, our participants follow the Amazon river into the heart of the jungle. Acquiring skills from fishing & canoeing to jungle hiking & shelter building, you can embrace everything that the jungle has to offer, all whilst witnessing the animals, flora and fauna along the way.
